I have been teaching for 12 years at the lower school level in Switzerland and love to create motivating teaching materials for my students. I was a classroom teacher for 12 years and always teach 1st or 2nd grade. In my lessons I always incorporate movement sequences and my students get to play quite a bit. I think the children can learn a lot when they play. It often happens that the students say : "What already finished? We were just playing." That's how teaching should be. After all, learning should be fun!

You might be surprised about the name, because it has nothing to do with school. Patschifig comes from the Rhaeto-Romanic language and means cozy, peaceful. Like so many teachers, I probably belong to the perfectionist category and the name is meant to remind me to take a break and take it easy. That's why I like to share my materials and hope I can save you a few minutes of work and you can enjoy a cozy evening.
